“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 6:23 ESV

If a person reads this verse and thinks, “I’m not a sinner! I’m a good person! I do things for those less fortunate! I treat my family good!” And so one… The fact is, you’re still a sinner and in need of a Savior.

In Romans 3:23 it’s written “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Romans 3:23 ESV

I spent hours researching what the “ALL” actually means in the original Greek language. Here what I found. The Greek word is “PAS” and here’s the Strongs Definition… “Including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any, every, the whole: - all (manner of, means) alway (-s), any (one), X daily, + ever, every (one, way), as many as, + no (-thing), X throughly, whatsoever, whole, whosoever.” So, in a nutshell “ALL” means “ALL”. This leaves us with the fact that everyone needs a Savior.

We, as human beings, live with this false idea that these bodies we live in is who we are. But, that is not the truth. These bodies are simply vessels that encase who we actually are. Our bodies are what we use to identify each other. God does not use our bodies to identify us He looks at our hearts (Soul)… “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.””

1 Samuel 16:7 ESV

These bodies will eventually wear out and die. But, we, our souls will go on for eternity. The decision we make about Jesus Christ will be the decision that will have us exist in eternal life or eternal death. One way or another we will be cognizant of what’s going on. The choice is accepting the free gift of eternal life or accepting the imprisonment of eternal torment where there’s weeping and gnashing of teeth.

As I look at the world today with Evil being called good and good being called evil. With so many prophecies being fulfilled. I can’t help believe the end of this age is near. I had this vision of us as believers being somewhat like those brave individuals that are in Afghanistan to rescue those our current administration left behind. We as Christians should have that same heart. The heart to provide safe passage from certain death for as many as will listen before the enemy catches them and they choose eternal death.

Remember, eternal life is free! “But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”

Romans 3:21-26 ESV

Choose ETERNAL LIFE!
